Something Old and Something New

We are proud to introduce our new additions to the Skybox Staff Profile. These wonderful coordinators have been working with us for the past year but they are new to our website.

Rachel Anderson (Publicity Coordinator): Transplanted from the Bay Area, Rachel is no stranger to the different cultures and customs of the diverse LA region. After working with Skybox Event Productions for over two years, she uses her creative thinking to help make every event unique. Specializing in Public Relations, Rachel utilizes her Communication degree to endorse and publicize clients’ events to magazines and other vendors. Through these avenues, clients can enjoy their special moments again and again.
Ashley Simmons (Event Coordinator): Originally from the San Bernardino County, Ashley has brought her intimacy of the valley into the Los Angeles culture. Ashley is a Business major from Cal Poly, and uses her understanding of the professional environment to optimize interactions with vendors and provide clients with the most current trends. She has worked in the events industry for over two years, allowing her detail-oriented mindset to see every nuance and curtail any potential problem. Every guest’s enjoyment is Ashley’s motivation to produce the perfect event for every client.
Macy Ho (Event Coordinator): Truly a job of passion, Macy works with Skybox Event Productions while working full-time as an accountant. Macy joined the Skybox team over a year ago, in order to allow her creativity to be fully released. She hopes to one day be a full time event coordinator. Macy truly looks forward to every event, feeling rewarded when she gets to see the event through from beginning to end. Her organization and task-oriented skill set help allow her to maintain focus and order in any situation, while her ease of conversation puts every guest to rest.

Hottest New Event Company Makes the List

LOS ANGELES, CA, August 4, 2009 – Skybox Event Productions has been named the Inland Empire's best business in 2009, for wedding planners, in the myfoxla’s HOTLIST.

Nominated by the myfoxla’s HOTLIST at the end of May, Skybox Event Productions was voted to number one by local residents on July 28, 2009.

Ngoc Nguyen, Creative Director and Principal Consultant of Skybox Event Productions said, “It’s wonderful to know that our company not only takes pride and enjoyment in planning events, but other people love seeing our company’s products.”

Nominations for the hotlist are made by the Fox 11 news team based on a company’s merit, or local residents who nominate their favorite business owners and business listings. All nominees are researched and verified for accuracy. Winners are determined by the percentage of votes cast for each business in that particular category.

The myfoxla’s HOTLIST is a yearly promotional contest and city guide that Fox 11 of LA, and CityVoter endorse to profile local businesses and allow consumers a chance to vote for their favorite local businesses.
